South Florida Realtor Ian Kallusingh sees his role as guide, counselor, teacher, and protector.
As a realtor, he must perform many duties for his clients. Giving advice about a market he has lived in his whole life. Helping clients make educated decisions in the tricky real estate market. Helping to educate people on how the market is performing right now and what is coming in the near future. Trying his best to protect their hard earned money from being taken away by some simple oversight, like missing a closing date, forgetting an appraisal, or miscalculating taxes.
The past decade he has devoted his life to being a high school teacher, mentor, basketball coach, father, and husband. Learning that your job does not end when the “bell rings”. Former students and players have constantly asked for his advice numerous times after they graduated
high school. Writing recommendation letters, helping students fill out college applications, assisting students sign up for sat/act, and being a character reference are just a few of the things he has done to help his community.
Having been a basketball coach at the high school level as well as volunteering at the YMCA, he has learned the importance of persistence and hard work. If you do not work hard in sports, you will have a very hard time succeeding. The hard work he expected from his players, he had to show them first hand. This is the same mindset he brings into the real estate field. Making sure his clients are a priority, answering calls whenever the clients need, showing his buyers as many properties as needed till they find the one that fits their family, and just being by their sides every step of the way.
