Every year, REALTORS® from across Florida gather in Tallahassee for Greater American Realtor Days (GARD), and this year’s event was one of the most powerful yet. GARD 2025 brought together over 1,000 REALTORS®, brokers, affiliates, and industry leaders with one shared mission: to protect homeownership, defend property rights, and push for smart, community-driven legislation.
From the moment we arrived, there was a strong sense of purpose. We walked the halls of the Capitol, meeting with legislators and their teams to advocate on issues that affect our industry and our clients—everything from affordable housing and insurance reform to infrastructure and responsible growth. These conversations weren’t just informative; they were productive and met with genuine interest. It was clear that lawmakers value our expertise and the role we play in our communities.
A highlight of the day was the rally on the Capitol steps. Hundreds of REALTORS® stood together, proudly wearing blue and raising their voices in unity. The energy was electric—a visual reminder that when we show up together, we’re a force for meaningful change.
