Few words speak as highly of a real estate professional as “experienced” and “successful,” and no one deserves such accolades more than Barry Rifkin. A veteran real estate broker and licensed mortgage broker with more than 45 years in the business, Barry has earned a reputation in the industry as “the Realtors’ Realtor®.”
For the past 15 years, Barry has focused almost exclusively on short sales, helping clients with foreclosure or mortgage default problems sell rather than lose their homes, thus enabling them to qualify to buy another home after a waiting period of as little as three years. His expertise in and dedication to assisting homeowners entangled in such predicaments has made him the agent of choice in this challenging, high-pressure arena.
Ever faithful to his roots of providing superior service, Barry is quick to anticipate possible bumps in the road and smooth them out before they can impact a customer’s transaction. His extensive knowledge and experience enable him to keep clients fully informed and free of stress throughout the process, while handling even the smallest detail along the way.
Even after four and a half decades, Barry’s customers are still his top priority and finding them the perfect home and mortgage product remains his biggest thrill. “My greatest accomplishment is the deal I do today, not the thousands I’ve done in the past,” he says. “I look forward to the promise of tomorrow because it’s an opportunity to fulfill still another client’s dream.”
A native of the Bronx who moved to the Sunshine State, earned a degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida, and currently lives in Kendall, Barry is an avid golfer and fresh water fisherman and loves ballroom dancing with his wife.
