“Buying a home is the most important investment most people will ever make,” says Leonardo Salazar, an active member of the National Association of Realtors® who handles single-family residences and condos in all price ranges in Kendall and South Miami.

“An important part of my job is to place as much relevant information — real estate reports, trending sales, comparative market analyses, price tracking charts, etc. — at my clients’ disposal so they can make a fully informed decision when the time comes,” he says.

As a South Florida resident since 1975 himself, not only is Leo highly knowledgeable about the historical ups and downs of the Miami real estate market, but he also possesses insider information on neighborhood schools, social attractions, amenities, and lifestyles that his clients find invaluable.

Prior to discovering his passion for real estate and joining the RESF team, Leo rang up more than 20 years in sales and customer service at Shield Pest Control, one of South Florida’s most successful pest control providers for more than half a century.

Born and raised in Miami, Leo has lived in Kendall, Miami, and Miami Beach for over three decades. Away from the office, he loves spending time with his wife of more than 20 years and their three children, as well as helping support church activities at Miami’s Mother of Christ Catholic Church. He also enjoys traveling, fishing, playing soccer, and meeting new people.
