For the month of #March #RESFCares joined forces with the PMS organization ( Phelan-McDermid Syndrome) fundraiser on Thursday March 10 at one of our local restaurants, “The Melting Pot”
We are grateful for the opportunity to give back to our community, especially to an organization that helped one of our fellow agents’ family. Our contributions to this cause will continue to help improve the quality of life of those affected with Phelan-McDermid syndrome by providing family support, accelerating research, and raising awareness.
Phelan-McDermid syndrome (PMS) is a rare genetic condition that causes developmental and speech delays, behavioral problems and a weakened or no ability to feel pain or sweat. Phelan-McDermid syndrome is a congenital condition (condition that is present at birth) that can affect people of all genders.
